Art & Sol Studio’s Black Arts Expo is celebrating and highlighting black artists and their talent in a forum that everyone can enjoy all month long, during the month of February, 2017. Opening weekend, February 3-5 from noon – 8 PM, will feature Black Expo artists, their artwork, and vendors from African American owned businesses. There is a $5 entry fee in support of Art & Sol Studios.
Participants include, R Solutions, a non profit organization bringing much needed resources, opportunities, and job training to Haiti and Haitian communities, as well as White Coats for Black Lives, a nonprofit organization of doctors who have come together to speak on issues of physical and mental health within the Black community.
Friday, February 3rd, from 8 PM to midnight, there will be an after-party celebration which will include performances and music by DJ Motleys Way. Tickets are $10 for the social event. Our goal is to not only to raise funds for all organizations involved, but to showcase artists and African American businesses.
