OCTOBER 12 – 23, 2016 in MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT …

GROWING BEYOND COLOR AND CULTURE
five years into the future — an outsider’s view of the world of art.

Extended until 10/23/16 — AA Art Perspective — Digital, Photographic Works and Works on Paper in The Melin Building, 3930 NE 2nd Avenue, 2nd Floor, Suite 201, Miami, FL  33137.

This is an Invitational Salon Exhibition. Our purpose is to raise awareness of local, national and international artists and arts professionals. These are the new gallerists, dealers, unknown yet established artists, and emerging artists. This, free range art perspective, will highlight what is trending in contemporary and emerging works as well as highlight African-American master work, photography and works on paper.

NRM PERKULATOR™ Discussions and Performances will present a conversation with Professor Frank Martin from the I.P. Stanback Museum on the historic Harlem On My Mind exhibition and the Metropolitan Museum of Art — 47 years later.  A special closing performance composer / guitarist, Vernon Reid and turntablist, DJ Logic.

an African American Art Perspective will add an additional point of view in Miami, recently proclaimed as the New art capital of America. It will also provide an additional source for collectors who are looking to expand and fill gaps in their collections.
